Who We Are?
FLARE Darmstadt is a student led engineering community focused on designing, building, and testing innovative UAV systems that serve society. We unite students from many backgrounds around hands on aerospace projects, from solar powered aircraft to autonomous forest fire detection platforms. Our work brings practical engineering experience, teamwork, and a shared purpose together, creating a space where young engineers grow while contributing to a safer and more sustainable future.
Our Services
UAV Design and Prototyping
We develop lightweight UAVs from concept to flight ready prototypes
CAD Modeling and FEA Analysis Support
We provide support in 3D modeling, structural design, and finite element analysis for lightweight structures, student projects, and competition aircraft.
Aerospace Training and Workshops
We provide practical training for university and high school students, covering aerodynamics basics, composite manufacturing, avionics integration, structural design in CAD, and structural analysis with FEA.
Environmental Sensing and Fire Detection R&D
We design and test onboard AI based fire detection systems that support early wildfire identification and environmental protection mission
